Pet Med Direct is a UK-based pet medicines supplier. Because veterinary medicines and many animal health products are tightly regulated, we do not post orders outside the UK.

Many pet treatments (including prescription medicines) are classed as regulated veterinary medicinal products in the UK. These products must be supplied under strict UK rules covering who can supply them, how they’re stored, and the checks that must be completed before dispatch.

For prescription-only pet medicines, we can only process orders in line with UK requirements (including prescription validity and supply records). Sending these items abroad would involve different legal requirements and import rules in the destination country, which we’re not able to support through our UK supply service.

International parcels containing pet medicines can be held, delayed, rejected, or seized by customs. Many countries require import permits, local authorisations, or specific documentation. To prevent failed deliveries and compliance issues, we dispatch within the UK only.

A product that is approved for sale in the UK may be licensed or labelled differently elsewhere. Even if the brand name is the same, the authorised uses, pack information, or formulation may not match local requirements.

Some pet products are sensitive to temperature and transit time. International delivery and customs delays can make it hard to guarantee products arrive within suitable conditions.
