What is Anthelmin Plus XL?

Anthelmin Plus XL is a high-strength worming tablet designed for large and extra-large dogs. It combines three active ingredients in one flavoured tablet to give broad intestinal worm control in a practical format that is easier for heavier dogs, where standard-strength tablets may require multiple doses.

What does it treat?

This product is intended for the treatment of mixed infestations caused by common intestinal worms in adult dogs. It is suitable where cover is needed against:

• roundworms

• hookworms

• tapeworms

That makes it a useful all-round dog wormer when broad-spectrum intestinal parasite control is needed in one tablet.

How it works

The three active ingredients work together to widen the spectrum of control:

• Praziquantel targets tapeworms

• Pyrantel embonate works against key roundworms and hookworms

• Febantel adds further nematode control

This combination helps provide reliable worming support for larger dogs in a single product.

Dosing and administration

Anthelmin Plus XL is designed for bigger dogs, with a straightforward dosing guide based on bodyweight. The tablets can be divided to allow more accurate dosing where needed. They can be given directly into the mouth or mixed with a small amount of food, as long as the full dose is taken.

Accurate weighing before treatment is always recommended so the correct dose is given and under-dosing is avoided.
