How Pergocoat Works

How to Give Pergocoat Tablets
Pergocoat tablets for horses are given by mouth once daily, exactly as your vet instructs.

Your vet will:

• Choose 0.5mg or 1mg tablets, or a mix, to match your horse’s needs

• Set a starting dose based on bodyweight and clinical signs

• Show you how to split scored tablets if needed

• Plan review dates to check progress and adjust the dose if required

You can usually give the tablet with a small amount of feed. Try to give it at the same time each day. If you miss a dose or are unsure whether your horse received it, speak to your vet before making changes.

Monitoring and Ongoing Care
