Otomax ear drops for dogs are used to treat external ear infections (otitis externa) when your vet has confirmed they are suitable. These infections often involve bacteria, yeast and inflammation in the outer ear canal.

How to use Otomax ear drops for dogs

Always follow your vet’s instructions and the label on the bottle. As a general guide:

• Shake the bottle if the label tells you to do so

• Gently lift the ear flap and hold it up so you can see the opening

• Place the nozzle just inside the ear canal entrance, without forcing it

• Squeeze the bottle to give the number of drops your vet has prescribed

• Massage the base of the ear gently to help spread the drops along the canal

Your vet will tell you:

• How many drops to put in each ear

• How many times a day to use Otomax ear drops for dogs

• How many days or weeks to continue the course
