Surolan (miconazole, prednisolone acetate, polymyxin B) treats otitis externa in dogs and cats caused by bacteria (Staphylococcus aureus, E. coli, Pseudomonas), yeast, and ear mites (Otodectes cynotis). Available in 15ml and 30ml.

What Surolan is used for
Surolan Ear Drops treat otitis externa (ear infections) in dogs and cats caused by susceptible bacteria (Staphylococcus aureus, E. coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa), yeast/fungal organisms, and the ear mite Otodectes cynotis.
Pack sizes
15ml and 30ml bottles.
How it’s given
For bacterial/yeast otitis: a few drops into the affected ear, twice daily, for the duration your vet directs. For ear mite infections: 5 drops into the affected ear, twice daily, for 14 days. Always follow your vet’s specific instructions for your pet’s case.
Safety information
- Do not use in dogs or cats with a perforated eardrum
- Do not use alongside other ototoxic medicines
- Not for use in animals hypersensitive to any of the ingredients
- Use in pregnancy or lactation is not recommended
- Possible effects include local irritation; contact your vet if you notice anything unusual
