Ceva makes the collar to help dogs feel reassured and relaxed, both at home and out and about. It is intended for dogs that are unsettled by stress. It is not intended for hyperactivity, boredom, house-soiling linked to training or a medical cause, or aggression towards people or other dogs. How to use the Adaptil Calm Collar

Uncoil the collar using the plastic loop, feed it through the buckle and place it over your dog’s head.
Fit it snugly, with no more than two fingers between the collar and your dog’s skin, then secure it and trim off any excess.
Keep it on day and night, except when using shampoo. Hair length makes no difference as long as the fit is snug.
Replace the collar every 4 weeks.

Safety information

Do not cover the collar with another collar or a bandana.
Do not wet it with shampoo or chlorinated water. An occasional swim in the sea or a lake is fine.
Do not clip a lead to the Adaptil collar.
Adaptil is not a veterinary medicine. If your dog’s stress is severe or does not improve, or you are worried about their health, speak to your vet.
