Cladaxxa (amoxicillin/clavulanic acid) is a prescription antibiotic. The 40mg/10mg and 200mg/50mg strengths are licensed for cats and dogs. The 400mg/100mg strength is licensed for dogs only — not cats.

What Cladaxxa is used for
Cladaxxa (amoxicillin/clavulanic acid) is a broad-spectrum antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections — including skin/soft tissue, dental, urinary and respiratory infections — in cats and dogs, as prescribed by your vet.
Available strengths — please check species carefully
- 40mg/10mg — licensed for cats and dogs
- 200mg/50mg — licensed for cats and dogs
- 400mg/100mg — licensed for dogs only, not cats
How it’s given
Given orally, at the dose and frequency your vet prescribes. Complete the full course even if your pet seems better, and never give leftover antibiotics to another animal or for a different condition.
Safety information
- Not for use in animals hypersensitive to penicillins or cephalosporins
- Not for use in rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters or gerbils
- Possible effects include vomiting or diarrhoea; contact your vet if you notice anything unusual
