What is Anthelmin Plus Dog?
Anthelmin Plus Dog 50/144/150mg is a broad-spectrum worming tablet for dogs and puppies. It combines three active ingredients in one convenient tablet to target the most common intestinal worms seen in dogs, making it a practical choice when mixed worm burdens are suspected or when routine worming cover is needed.
What does it treat?
These tablets are indicated for the treatment of mixed infestations caused by common roundworms and tapeworms in dogs. They are suitable for the treatment of:
-
Ascarids including Toxocara canis and Toxascaris leonina
-
Hookworms including Uncinaria stenocephala and Ancylostoma caninum
-
Tapeworms including Taenia species and Dipylidium caninum
This makes Anthelmin Plus Dog a useful all-round wormer where both nematode and cestode cover are required in one product.
How it works
The three active ingredients work together to widen the spectrum of worm control:
-
Praziquantel targets tapeworms
-
Pyrantel embonate is active against important roundworms and hookworms
-
Febantel adds further broad-spectrum nematode control
Together, they provide a convenient combination treatment in a single tablet.
Dosing and administration
The recommended dose is 1 tablet per 10 kg bodyweight. The tablets can be halved or quartered to allow more accurate dosing for smaller dogs. They can be given directly into the mouth or disguised in food if needed. No starvation is required before or after treatment.
Accurate weighing is important before treatment so the correct dose is given and under-dosing is avoided.
Why choose this product?
Anthelmin Plus Dog is a strong option for practices, breeders, rescues and multi-dog households because it offers:
-
broad-spectrum worm cover in one tablet
-
easy dosing by bodyweight
-
tablets that can be split for flexibility
-
practical pack sizes for either occasional use or bulk stock holding
The 4-tablet pack is ideal for household use, while the 100-tablet box suits clinics, breeders or homes with several dogs.
Important safety information
Do not use together with piperazine compounds. Wash hands after administration. In the case of accidental ingestion, seek medical advice and show the packaging or leaflet. As with all wormers, good hygiene, regular kennel cleaning and flea control are important, especially because fleas can play a role in tapeworm transmission.
