Canaural (fusidate, framycetin, nystatin, prednisolone) treats otitis externa, including ear mite infections, in dogs and cats. Available in 15ml and 25ml. Do not use if the eardrum is perforated.

What Canaural is used for

Canaural is a combination ear preparation (diethanolamine fusidate, framycetin sulphate, nystatin and prednisolone) used to treat otitis externa in dogs and cats, including infections caused by the ear mite Otodectes cynotis.

How it’s given

A few drops into the affected ear, as your vet directs.

  • Do not use in dogs or cats with a perforated eardrum
  • Do not use alongside other ototoxic medicines
  • Not for use in animals hypersensitive to any of the ingredients
  • Use in pregnancy or lactation is not recommended
  • Possible effects include local irritation; contact your vet if you notice anything unusual
